MASTER OF DIVINITY

The Master of Divinity Degree is an eighty-eight (88) unit (three year) program, fulfilling all the educational requirements necessary for ordination. It is similar to the Doctor of Ministry degree program but requires neither the colloquium nor the professional project.

Master of Divinity Admissions
Minimum educational requirements are a Bachelor of Arts degree in any field from a state-approved or regionally or nationally accredited institution or equivalent.

Master of Divinity Graduation Requirements

  • Student must complete eighty-eight (88) semester units of credit. One semester unit is fifteen (15) contact hours for sixteen (16) weeks. Total contact hours: One thousand three hundred twenty 1,320 hours
  • Satisfactory completion (B average or better) of all required course work over eight (8) semesters time (approximately thirty-two months chronological time).
  • Students must apply for graduation and meet all academic and financial requirements
