Admissions
Philosophy
Admission
decisions are based upon both objective and subjective criteria.
An applicant's previous academic record is an important predictor
of his or her ability to succeed at the University. Previous
work experience in the selected field of study may also be
taken into consideration. Personal and/or professional letters
of recommendation are included in the process. Finally, a
personal interview with a university administrator is required
of all resident applicants.
Nondiscrimination
Policy
The
University welcomes all adult learners and does not discriminate
on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, disability,
gender or in any other way in its policies, practices, or
procedures involving applicants, learners, faculty, staff
and the public. Please note, however, that the University
reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone the University
believes does not meet its academic standards.
